Quite a while ago I got Adobe Photoshop version 2.0. I’ve only recently started using it because before I couldn’t figure out how to.
I have a Dell laptop (I’m not sure which version) and the hard drive was transferred from one the same which had a broken hinge. Ever since my computer has been acting up, and I’m positive it’s because of the program.
My laptop takes an age to start up (much longer than my dad’s computer). Photoshop takes over 10 minutes and if it gets minimised the colour goes strange and sometimes all of it except the toolbar disappears and the task manager doesn’t recognise the program to be running. Even when I’m not using the programe the colours on my desktop and web browser (Explorer) are duller than they should be most of the time (eg light blue looks grey).
It’s a pain and does anyone know how to fix it? Should I get a newer version of Photoshop or is there something else I can do?

I want to buy my friend’s, but he isn’t sure it’ll work on a different computer. PLEASE answer. I really need to know. (my friend is really good with computers, and Adobe sent him the full version with a serial code for free, and he was going to sell this to me for $10!)

I won it at an auction along with Adobe Premiere Elements 7 just the other day and tried installing it a few mintutes ago. I put the disk into the drive, but it doesn’t do anything. I mean, I can hear it begin whirring, but no window pops up like the instructions say it would. What am I doing wrong?

My C drive doesn’t have anymore space on it. When I automatically try to start and install photoshop, it’s saying that I no longer have enough space in my C drive. What I want to do is make it to where in needed space will be had in the D drive in my computer. The OS is Windows XP, and the computer is a Sony Vaio.
How would I go about doing that?

I have tried deleteing it from the control panel. Everytime I try it says Adobe Bridge is running even though it isn’t. How can I get this off of my computer? Any help is appreciated. I was a trial version that expired.

I copied just the folder for Photoshop from school. I clicked on the EXE file at home, it got to the Photoshop window, but it wouldn’t install.
How do successfully install Photoshop. Is there anyway. Is there any folders that I should copy from the Adobe folder?
Thank You

Every time I go to Add or Remove Programs and I uninstall Adobe Photoshop, it says I have gotten rid of it, and yet it’s still on my list of programs I have on my computer? How do I get rid of it?

Okay, so my computer was having problems so my dad bought a back up hard drive and we put everything we wanted on the hard drive. And we swiped the whole computer before it could crash. So when we put everything back, my Adobe Photoshop wasn’t there. And I payed for it and everything, so I really don’t want to have to re-buy it. And I don’t know how to get it back on my computer! Can someone please help me?
